Rimmel London Union Jack Eyeshadow review, photos and swatches

Rimmel London has paired with Kate Moss once again to release these stunning Union Jack Eyeshadow palettes featuring a range of daring metallic shades in an iconic Union Jack design. Palettes available include English Oak, Black Cab, Green Park and True Union Jack.

Union Jack Eyeshadows are creamy powder eyeshadows with a velvety texture. The colors are bold, attention grabbing and light reflecting.

I love the way the eyeshadows are positioned in the shape of the union jack. The pigmenation is very good, and the colors stay put without creasing. Apply light handlely for a more natural look or built up for a more dramatic look. There is an array of textures available, some are matte and some very sparkly. If you dislike a shade you are bound love another. So no complaints either. I love that so much has been packed into these small palettes. Since the sizes are very small, lets call them mini palettes. The quanity wont bother you for the reason there are four shades in each palette each having different texture alltogether. That’s what makes it fun and stylish to use, truly Kate Moss style.

Some of the sections of the palette are so small that its difficult to use a rounded brush to pickup the colour.

I love “Kate Moss” and that is why I got this mascara. hehe.

Plus the packaging is kinda jazzy and I also wanted to add some “WOW” to my lashes. With all done I can say that Rimmel extra wow lash mascara does “WOW” your lashes for a price which is irrestible (very cheap).

The formula is rich, thick and pigmented and comes with a soft bristle brush. With one coat, I get very natural looking lashes. With second coat (wait for 5 mins between each coat) I have separated (no clumps), curled and lengthened lashes that still look natural. The brush curls my lashes during application and my lashes hold on to the curl throughtout the day (I am amazed). The volume is not dramatic but good and the length achieved is really good keeping the eyes looking natural at the same time.

This mascara comes with a specially designed over sized application brush to coat your eyelashes from root to tip, defining each individual lash without clumping them to give them full sensational eyelash look. This product includes many good ingredients such as beeswax, olive oil and keratin and is ophthalmologist tested and suitable for those of us with sensitive eyes or those who wear contacts.

Rimmel extra wow lash mascara lasts the whole day on my eyelashes and at the end of the day it is very easy to remove too (no rubbing tugging here).
