Lakme Fantasy Collection Summer 2011 True Wear Nail Color review, photos and swatches

Lakme has released 6 new True wear nail colors as a part of the lakme fantasy collection summer 2011. The swatches are in the order 251, 252, 250, 248, 247, 249. This collection has pretty colors in nude pink, hot pink, soft lilac and mauve. The colors are glossy, have the perfect consistency and dry quickly. 250 and 249 are two beautiful colors and a must-have!

Lakme perfect radiance skin lightening compact in “Ivory fair” and “Rose fair” review, photos and swatches

I saw these beautiful white and pink compacts and couldn’t resist the urge to buy them. Available in six shades, I got these in two shades “Ivory fair” and “Rose fair”. Ivory fair as the name sounds is not at all ivory, it is more yellow toned. Rose fair does justice to it’s name and is really a lighter colour with a slight hint of pink.

The coverage is good and even, doesnot look chalky and last for 6 to 7 hours. It blends easily and feels light-weight on the skin. It’s SPF 20 and contains multi-minerals, plus it does claim to lighten the complexion. These compacts have a very strong floral fragrance which some people may not like. The fragrance does become mild after a few minutes. The mirror that comes in the lid is quite big and good quality. The powder puff that comes along with these compacts feels papery and synthetic, I prefer to use my own powder brush instead.

The swatches are in the order “Ivory fair” and “Rose fair”.

I have swatched “Rose fair” below, you can see that it looks chalky at first and then sinks into the skin looking natural and giving a good coverage.

Lakme fantasy collection summer 2011 Shadow Artist Shimmer Stick (all shades) review, photos and swatches

Lakme brings four new Shimmer Sticks named as Astral Blue, Starry Night, Glimmer Green and Moon Beam. I picked up all four seeing how gorgeous the colors were! Soft greens represent youthfulness and blues represent vibrancy, these shimmer sticks represent vibrant youthfulness in total. Starry night is dark blue, Astral blue is dark turquoise, Glimmer green is a light green and Moon beam is light pearly green with lots of fine green glitter.

These pencils are fashionably gorgeous and come with a transparent cap. They sport the same color on the outside as they are inside. These are creamy and highly pigmented. These are super-smooth and apply with ease and glide like a dream on the lids. Very fine, light reflecting glitter brings a sparkle to the eyes.

The swatches below are in order Starry Night, Astral Blue, Moon Beam and Glimmer Green. You can see that Starry Night is violet-blue whereas Astral Blue is not blue it’s turquoise.
