Faith in nature says “Rejuvenating Facial Wash that cleanses and refreshes, whilst restoring the skin’s natural balance. Lightly foaming to smooth the complexion and refine pores. Contains Organic Aloe Vera with moisturising and anti-oxidant properties”.
First of all I got this one after seeing it is so economical, filled with so many simple natural ingredients and I was curious to know whether it really does what it says. I am happy with the price, it’s really good. The ingredients are all simple and natural, Faith in nature have not used costly oils and herbs which will increase the product price, but whatever ingredients they have used are all economical, mostly natural and good.
To cleanse my face I take two pumps, rub it between my palms and spread it all over my dry face including eye area (keeping the eyes closed). With gentle circular movements I loosen any makeup, dirt and oil. I splash some water over my face and with circular movements I dilute the cleanser and then rinse it off completely with water. My skin looks clean, fresh and toned and I don’t feel the need to use a toner, but I still prefer to use rosewater for it’s skin beautifying properties. I am totally happy with this cleanser when it comes to my morning cleansing routine.
At the end of the day I tried to remove my heavy liner and eye makeup with it but I saw that some black liner was left in between my lashes. So I think when it comes to removing heavy duty makeup and waterproof makeup you need something more to dissolve the stubborn-long lasting color.
Okay so my conclusion is, it is one of the best cleanser when it comes to morning use (usually when we wakeup with a nightcream/serum and no makeup). It will clean and refresh your face without making it dry or oily and ready for your day products. For makeup removal – It will remove any light makeup but not heavy one, so I use it at night on days I do light makeup.
I think Faith in nature rejuvenating facial wash is a cross between foamy cleansers and cream cleansers. This cleanser will not dry out your skin as a gel or foamy cleanser will and will not make it oily as a creamy or oil based one. As for the smell there is a very slight scent which is not noticeable and doesnot linger on the skin even for 5 mins.
The cleanser says it foams lightly. It never foamed on my skin, I am wondering maybe because my skin is too oily and dirty. :-(
