This lip balm comes in a glass bottle. The bottle is not something that you can carry in your purse and flaunt in front of everyone. It looks like a mini night cream bottle and is in fact a lip treatment balm that is most suited for night use.
The texture is rich, heavy and very nourishing. It is not meant for daytime use, unless you are facing extreme climatic conditions and/or severely cracked lips. Use this lip balm in day time only if you really need it. It is not something that can be used under a lipstick unless applied less than a tiniest dot.
From my experience this lip balm is “what a night cream is to your face.” I use it at night time. It is rich in honey, plant oils, shea butter and grapefruit essence which nourish, repair and soothe the lips overnight and keep your lips hydrated, smooth, plum the next day. This lip balm is so effective in treating cracked, painful lips that it has been tested and proven to be effective in extremely cold conditions in Canada. It smells of refreshing grapefruit with a hint of honey which is quite delectable.
I apply it every night before going to sleep. It really helps to keep my lips supple even under a matte lipstick the next day.
