Nubar Cucumber Nourishing Nail Polish Remover is an acetone-free nail polish remover that contains vitamin E and is fortified with calcium and potassium and claims to be safe for natural and artificial nails.
It smells of chemicals straight out of the bottle, but once I am done removing my polish it leaves behind a nice cucumber smell that I cant keep myself from sniffing at.
Acetone dries out nails so badly that they become brittle and break. But since Nubar Cucumber Nourishing Nail Polish Remover is acetone-free, it is very gentle and safe for use even on fragile nails.
This remover leaves my cuticles soft and has never dried out my nails and I haven’t noticed any nail damage, brittleness or breakage with it. The formulation doesnot feel harsh or strong, infact it feels non-stripping and gentle.
Even though it is acetone-free it removes nail polish very quickly and with ease as the ones containing acetone do. I love how quickly it takes off layers of my nail polish, even the glitter ones without damaging my nails. Also it doesnot evaporate as fast as acetone ones do so you have a good amount of time to remove your polish.
The green color is a plus because it lets you see how much of it you have put on your cotton ball.

It’s nice to know that this is an acetone free remover. I’ve been on a never-ending quest to find a nail polish remover that does the job right. Considering this one is acetone free I might have to give it a try sometime!

Oh dear, seems I’ve been using a very wrong nail polish remover all this time..
