Nubar Polka Dot collection is available in two polka dot shades – black and white. I picked up the black polka dot polish as it looks beautiful over a variety of colors. Nubar Black Polka Dot Nail Lacquer is a clear polish containing fine black hexagonal glitter and small black hexagonal glitter that gives a funky black polka dot effect.
I love this black polka dot polish and have tried it over all sorts of different colors like red, pink, green, blue, silver. It looks absolutely stunning over a red polish mimicking the appearance of a red beetle. I get a lot of compliments when I wear it over a red polish.
This polish dries super smooth and glossy but I still prefer to use a top coat over it.
The fine black hexagonal glitter applies easily but the bigger polka dots are a bit tricky to get on the nails so I make sure I fish out enough of these on the brush first before I paint them on my nails. With one coat I am able to apply 2-3 bigger polka dots on my nails, for more dots I need a second layer.

I love black glitter but I can’t find any of the Nubar polishes in my area… so disappointing.

Is this a really difficult polish to remove? I like this look, but I am dreading the removal of any glitter based nail polishes…
it comes off easily because you will be applying only a few polka dots, also you will be applying it over other plain polish.
