This is a whipped up aloe vera gel which also contains floral waters of five flowers. I love the smell, it smells like saffron with hints of the floral waters.
Aloe vera is known to increase the skin’s ability to retain moisture. It helps increase the skin elasticity and keep it youthful. It also treats sunburn and skin darkness and redness. I have been looking for a good aloevera gel that I can use under my skincare products and this one seems really good to me.
This is an aloe vera gel and not a moisturiser and I cannot use this alone as it provides no moisturisation. I use it use it under my moisturiser (daytime) or under my nightcream (at night) so that when I am using my regular products my skin can still benefit from the healing and anti-aging properties of aloevera. Please note that I donot use this gel everyday but definitely many times a month.
The gel is cold to touch. As I apply it on my face, it gives a cooling sensation. As the gel dries up my skin feels a tiny-bit tight which is because aloe vera has a tendency to give a tight feeling as it dries up.
