After talking to my friend about different mascaras and the disappointing results that most of them gave me, she recommended that I try one of her favorite mascaras by Dior Diorshow. She seems to know her cosmetics very well, so I trust her opinion on things of that nature. I went ahead and ordered my own Dior Diorshow mascara and had it delivered in the post within a few days.
In my opinion, I think I have a normal amount of eyelashes, but what gives me the trouble is that my eyelashes seem transparent, or colorless. This doesn’t make much sense to me, considering I have dark brown hair. I feel that I’ve been cheated in the eyelash department.
I was amazed when I first tried my new mascara out. It was like an instant transformation of my whole face. My eyes were suddenly adorned with lush long lashes. I am so glad I bought it, my lashes have never looked so long and full, and I got lots of compliments. This mascara makes my lashes fuller, thicker and appear longer.
I really love how the wand is so easy to hold and maneuver without jabbing or sticking myself in the eye. The applicator brush at the end of the wand really holds all the magic. It brushed my lashes out and colored them to perfection. No clumps, no feeling of having my eyelashes glued together, and no double dipping.
I’m serious, this stuff is great just using it one time around for each eye. I especially love the way it goes on and stays there without flaking off all over the place as the day goes on. I can put this on just once for the day and wear it without worries of it needing any touching up. No smears or runs, and that’s hard to find unless you’re using a waterproof product. It’s good from sun up until sun down, and washes off at the end of the day without trouble.
I am not the type to wear false eyelashes, but my friend does. She swears by using the Dior Mascara right on top of the false eyelashes and her natural lashes all at once. Like I said before, she is pretty skilled when it comes to cosmetics and she really knows how to put on the glam look. She says it’s not hard to do and it only takes a few extra minutes to add that extra glamour to the eyelash area.
Dior Diorshow offers other shades of mascara besides black. They have a beautiful blue which is a sporty azure color, brown – which they call chestnut, and where would we be without an elegant purple – which they call plum. I opted for black, I’m not a big risk taker. However, I mentioned liking the fun azure blue color to my friend and winded up getting that in a gift bag of goodies from her during the Holidays.
I have tried blue mascaras in the past, but wasn’t all that happy with them. They seemed to be overly inconspicuous and didn’t make the color pop. But, with my new azure blue from Dior, now I can enjoy that pretty blue color on my lashes without any fuss at all. I’m very happy with my new mascara from the Dior Diorshow beauty line. Alexa G.
