Wearing makeup all day long can often leave my skin looking dry, which makes me look a lot older than I am. I’ve tried a number of different cleansers on the market but they either left my skin even drier than I wanted or my face was read because of all the chemicals being used. Then I found Burt’s Bees Radiance facial cleanser, which uses a number of natural ingredients.
The facial cleanser gets just the right amount of lather with some warm water so that I know every pore on my face is getting washed. It will remove all of the make-up, dirt and oil from my face without having to use a wash cloth. Just by making circles in the lather, even my eye liner will come off with the cleanser, which is more than I can say for a lot of other products on the market.
There are Jojoba beads in the cleanser that help to exfoliate my skin. This way I know that not only is my makeup coming off – I also know any dead skin cells are coming off, too. I know they’re working because I can feel the small granules under my fingertips. They’re hard to the touch but they don’t feel like sandpaper like many of the other cleansers I’ve used in the past.
Other products smelled horrible afterwards and my husband always complained. Now, however, there are a lot of fruit acids inside that leave my skin smelling wonderful. It’s a refreshing smell than helps me to feel invigorated. Best of all, my husband doesn’t complain anymore.
Because the Burt’s Bees Radiance cleanser is an exfoliator, too, it leaves my skin looking younger. I don’t have any of the small wrinkles by the corner of my mouth or nose anymore because the dried skin cells are no longer there. As a result, I’ve noticed that I don’t have to use as much makeup anymore because my skin looks so much cleaner and smoother.
Many products feel like they’re heavy going on my skin. This product is very lightweight, working up just the right lather and doing what it says it will do. Once I rinse it all off, I don’t feel like there are any traces left behind. Other cleansers feel like there is still a residue across my face, which I always hated. Burts Bees is natural and lightweight so all I have left behind is a clean face.
With all of the benefits that the Burt’s Bees Radiance facial cleanser offers, I would have thought the price would be more expensive than it is. It’s actually one of the most affordable cleansers out on the market. The first time I used it I knew it would be my new favorite cleanser.
