The beauty of bangles is that they can be teamed up with a variety of casual and formal wear. They can be traditional or trendy depending on the way they are crafted considering the detail, designing, different patterns, prints, design, materials and colors. They are usually circular in shape but are not flexible like bracelets.

In India, married Hindu women always wear gold bangles teamed with glass bangles in her wrist. Green and red glass bangles are the most used by married women. Traditional says that gold bangles herald prosperity and well-being for husbands.
