Priyanka says
“I am a total bubble bath freak. I simply love having relaxing bubble baths in the comfort of my own home. I go all the way right from putting on relaxing smooth music, scented candles in my bathroom and putting various fragrant oils and perfumes in my bath to even adding a drink to sip while I relax in my bath. No wonder then that I try each and every bubble bath bars that are available on the market. I have my long establishes favourites but I also love to try the other newer varieties that I come across.

Recently I got the The Comforter Bubble Bar by LUSH. And I was simply blown by this bubble bath bar. Firs of all it is a LUSH original, so it has to be excellent. It is a very innovative solid bubble bath. Totally different from the usual bubble bath gels and stuff. The usage instructions are also very simple. You just have to crumble some of the Comforter Bubble Bar under warm running water. And you immediately get luscious, fragrant, luxurious bubbles. The bubbles come scented with sweet luscious berry fragrance. It goes a long way in calming and smoothening your frayed nerves during your bath. You can easily get three baths out of this single bar. It breaks very easily, and when crumbled into the bath, it makes simply lots of bubbles. The bubbles have a very nice, smooth and silky feel to them. Anyone who enjoys a good bubble bath like me will really appreciate this Bubble Bar from lush. The lovely, slightly floral and feminine scent is very relaxing. In addition, the bubbles last for a very long time and soften your skin. It also does not leave a residue behind on your skin which is much appreciated.”

How Not to Look Old: Fast and Effortless Ways to Look 10 Years Younger, 10 Pounds Lighter, 10 Times Better

how not to look old fast and effortless ways to look 10 years younger 10 pounds lighter 10 times better How Not to Look Old: Fast and Effortless Ways to Look 10 Years Younger, 10 Pounds Lighter, 10 Times Better

I recently learned about the author and her new book in the More magazine. What I read seemed good, so I immediately went out nad brought the book “How Not to Look Old: Fast and Effortless Ways to Look 10 Years Younger, 10 Pounds Lighter, 10 Times Better”. The author Krupp is the style expert for the Today Show and also the beauty director for Glamour magazine. This book is in a magazine like format with eye catching titles and prints. It gives simple fashion tips for middle-aged women well and is a morale booster to those wanting to change their ‘old’ look. The advice is of the ‘what to do’ and ‘what to avoid’ genre. It is presented in a simple straightforward fashion. There are tips for every pocket to suit. She is quick to point out that fashion of today’s teenagers looks ridiculous on older women. She gives the examples of bare midriffs, tattoos and weird coloured hair. There are also time and cost consuming tips like Botox shots, hair extensions, etc. Her advice is mostly fast fix and based on common sense. The author tells all elder women to deal with their old age by growing old gracefully thereby reducing their actual age and looking younger. Simple elegance goes a long way in resenting the picture of the mature young. Some of the great tips I got from the book include not wearing bright red or other ghastly finger nail polish colour, not wearing very long, baggy or floaty skirts, shopping for the right pair of dark wash jeans that fit you perfectly, trying bangs and highlights that work for a more elegant yet fashionable look, opting for plastic eyeglass frames instead of the wire ones and many more. Overall this is a very helpful book to look younger.

Drink water for a beautiful, clean and fresh skin

Drinking sufficient water daily greatly improves your skin and ability to fight and resist acne. Water aids in blood circulation and elimination of body toxins. The body eliminates toxins through perspiration, urination and excretion. Hence much water is eliminated from the body on a daily basis, so it should be replaced with fresh water regularly. On a typical day our body loses a tremendous amount of water due to many activities like breathing and if you exercise you lose even more water and feel dehydrated.

Drinking water helps you to get rid of toxins in the blood. By drinking water, you will urinate more and throw out the toxins and this makes your blood clean.

When you drink less water your cells cannot clear waste products efficiently which then accumulate in the cells and the blood. Due to the accumulated waste the cells cannot receive enough oxygen and nutrients to nourish and rebuild themselves. They become dehydrated and their ability to function properly is affected. This turns into a vicious cycle and the only way to break this cycle is to drink enough water.

Our cells, kidneys and liver require adequate water for flushing these toxins out. When metabolic wastes and toxins are accumulated in the cells and blood. The toxic waste should be expelled through kidneys and the bowels, but when the toxicity level in blood increases these excretory organs have to work much more and become overloaded with the task of waste elimination, the body then tries to find an alternative means of elimination which is our skin.

But why does our body consider skin as the best alternative means of elimination of toxins?

The body needs to perspire in order to regulate the body temperature and this process is carried out no matter whether you drink enough water or not. Regulation of body temperature is a life essential body function and is always given preference. Since water is evaporated during perspiration, this means water has to be excreted through the skin pores, therefore it is favorable for the body to throw out the excess toxins along with the excreted sweat. This way the body tries to regulate it’s temperature and lower it’s internal body toxicity all at the same time.

You should wash and clean your skin daily, due to uncleanliness and un-hygiene the sweat, toxins and oil accumulate on the surface of the skin making the pores clogged which cause whiteheads, blackheads and acne.

Therefore drink enough water which helps the kidneys, liver and bowels to eliminate waste and function properly. When you drink enough water the toxins are flushed through these excretory organs and not through your skin.

Another function of the liver is to eliminate excess hormones from the body. When the kidneys are overloaded, the body requires the liver to deal with the excess toxins. Due to this overload the hormones remain in the body for a longer time until they are excreted. Excessive androgens cause sebaceous glands to produce more oil and is the main cause of acne.

Water for clean and clear skin

Water for clean and clear skin

People in the show biz encash their looks and get rich with the help of their face value. They seem to be the beauty personified damsels. The dew drop looks and glowing skin has remained a dream for almost everyone equally. But the nightmare starts when you see your skin starts looking dull, lousy, and dry and visibility of pimples and acne.
All the looks conscious guys and gals, men and women have desperation to get into the right mode. They all crave to get into the shoes of these celebs and live the life of glamour, attention and the urge to be known. All of the people out there go on a shopping spree and spend lavishly on their clothes, accessories and cosmetics. You too must be visiting salons and parlors for getting the perfect hairstyle and costly make up and touch ups. But then just give a thought that if you have everything right and going at a good grade, then what is stopping you from getting and flaunting the perfect skin too.
Well! The problem is not with us but with our thoughts and the way we get carried away with what is being projected to us. We get so much carried away with what is going outside that we tend to forget the natural ways and what our body demands. In all this hustle bustle to get the things right we forget to take proper care of ourselves and the most essential part of us – our skin. Now you may think that you are taking the utmost care by going to the parlors and getting the timely cleansing and facials. But that’s not enough. It is just the temporary way to look good from the exterior part. The proper balance of the body nutrients and understanding the body needs and response is very essential.
There are many who run to parlors and cosmetologists to get rid of acne and skin related problems. Majority of this generation suffer from skin ailments, though silently without making it public and going through the lots of strenuous visits to parlors. But then why does this situation arise. It is very simple. We do not tend to listen to our body. We diet to get the perfect figure and take supplements to get a perfect physique. But then if the body is not cleansed and purified, then it would definitely show on your skin – in the form of acne and pimples.
So what is the solution? It is simple. Take a balanced diet to get the nutrients and drink lots of water. It would help you in getting a proper digestion but would also give you a glowy skin. Surprised! Well don’t be. Water helps you in cleansing of your body by carrying out all the toxics and waste material out of your body. Water also acts as the transporter of nutrients to all the organs and help in proper functioning of the body. The blood circulation and excretion helps in the proper working. But the problem arises when the intake of water is less. The kidney becomes unable to flush out the toxins. When these remain inside the body, they try to find a way out and start showing up on your skin as blemishes, acne or pimple.
So drink at least eight glasses of water and you would see the results in just a few days. So what are you waiting for? Take a glass right now and start counting them too.

Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright

benefit cosmetics eye bright Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright

Two days ago I went to my local department store and saw the Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright product. I actually had not thought about buying anything new but Eye Bright totally grabbed my attention. It said that the product conceals dark spots and circles around and under your eyes with a pink shade of the cream. I just had to buy one and try it as soon as I got home. I put it in the corners of my eyes, then along the dark shadows or circles under my eyes. I then did the eye-bright over the dark spots, then blended it all in. I’ve been sleep-deprived since about one – two months and the lack of sleep tells on my eyes. Also continuous work on the laptop has enlarged my dark circles further. But with the Benefit Cosmetics Eye Bright cream I looked totally great. Eye Bright completely covered the dark spots and dark circles under my eyes even though I have a very fair skin. My eyes looked very much bigger and full of life. I hadn’t realized how much older and tired the dark circles used to make me look until I saw myself with Eye Bright. And the overall effect was totally natural. Since then I have been using it daily. Eye Bright looks very natural without looking too light. It also lasts all day and does not even feel as if it’s there. It has a nice creamy blend able texture and is very easy to use. It also makes me look rested and refreshed. Now I cannot go an entire day without applying a bit of the Eye Bright cream. Benefit Eye Bright has just the right splash of pink that brightens my eyes instantaneously. IT will do the same for you.

Benefit Cosmetics Dr. Feelgood

benefit cosmetics dr feelgood Benefit Cosmetics Dr. Feelgood

I bought Dr. Feelgood impulsively after seeing Eva Mendes in a magazine looking all beautiful and the article said that to get the look, wear dr. Feelgood alone to mattify your skin while keeping it natural-looking. Dr. Feelgood is really a great conditioning balm with a light, fresh scent. It works well under or over makeup. I love cosmetics, so I purchased this product, and I have yet to regret it. I use it after applying my makeup in the morning, then once or twice again through the day as a touch-up. I love the way it makes my skin feel, and I think for me personally it really has helped with my skin’s condition. It gives a velvety complexion with a feel-good finish. It mattifies my complexion and reduces the appearance of fine lines and pores. It is enriched with vitamins C and E. This product really makes your natural skin look great. It makes all those fine lines disappear and any shine and makes your skin feel great. The scent is sort of lemony and strong on initial application, but it fades almost immediately and lingers in a very nice way. Some tips for applying: You should apply less, applying too much makes you look slimy. You should change the sponge frequently as oil and dirt from old applications can go back on your face. Wash the sponge gently with soap and water after every use; it will extend the life of your sponge. Blot on Dr. Feelgood then smooth, do not smear it on. You can wear it under or over foundation, but I find it more effective when worn under make up, just after applying moisturizer. It acts as a make-up primer by smoothening skin. Bottom line, I really like this balm, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to compact powders.

Why Should You Use Moisturizers Daily?

Why Should You Use Moisturizers Daily?

One of the most important requirements in a woman’s daily beauty regimen is using an effective moisturizer. Moisturizers need to be applied daily for several reasons. Here is a look at what these are:

Moisturizers keep your skin soft and supple because they have ingredients that nourish your skin.

By applying a moisturizer everyday, you can avoid getting dry skin. Dry skin cracks easily and gives your face an unhealthy appearance. It makes your skin feel itchy all the time.

An effective moisturizer can protect your skin from harsh sunlight and other environmental conditions that deteriorate skin textures.

Moisturizers give your young-looking skin and they help to delay skin aging process. Most of skin lines and wrinkles appear before time because the skin is dry and under-nourished. If you apply moisturizer everyday, you will keep it healthy and soft. This prevents aging signs from coming on the skin and even delays their onset.

Now that we have understood the importance of using moisturizers, we need to understand which moisturizers to choose, so that we can see the results mentioned above. Here are a couple of tips how to choose an effective moisturizer:

Choose moisturizers which have a high percentage of effective natural ingredients. Often you can find moisturizers which pose as natural skin care products, but they have a lot of unhealthy chemicals in them like Parabens, Alcohol, Mineral Oils and Wax. Such ingredients cause problem for your skin texture in the long run.

Check for ingredients such as Babbassu Oil, Avocado Oil, Grapeseed Oil and Macadamia Oil. These ingredients are known for their ability to enrich skin texture, moisturize skin and also protect skin from harsh environmental elements that dry skin.

Look for ingredients Maracuja and Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10. Maracuja has linolenic acid which makes your skin soft and prevents skin from becoming dry. Nano-Lipobelle H EQ10 has the ability to keep your skin looking young, because it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, two elements essential for healthy skin texture.

Check if the moisturizer is for your skin type. If you have dry skin, choosing a moisturizer specifically meant for dry skin is far better than choosing one for normal skin.
Moisturizers work effectively only when you apply them regularly. If you break with your routine, you can’t see the results you want. The next important thing is how you apply the moisturizer because of your application is not right, your skin won’t see the benefits of using the moisturizer. Here are three simple steps on how to apply a moisturizer effectively:

Put a small drop of moisturizer on your hand….should be the size of a nickel coin.

Spread the moisturizer over your hands and wipe the moisturizer all over your face.

Using firm, upward strokes, rub the moisturizer into your skin, so that it is well absorbed.

Follow the procedure everyday and you can see your skin becoming, soft, well-nourished and healthy. Such skin, glows with health and radiates your beauty even more.

Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig mascara

imju fiberwig fiberwig Imju Fiberwig Fiberwig mascara

I first heard about this product from my Japanese friend who used to swear by it. Then I actually saw it in the market one day and could not resist trying it. And by god, now I too swear by it. It is based on some new fibre engineering concept. It is supposed to cover your eyelashes in a tube like structure with a huge amount of micro-fine interconnecting fibres. The product is made with a special formula that makes it dry instantly and creates a long lasting film coat around the natural eye lashes. It makes the eyelashes long and thick and very beautiful. The product does not smudge at all on the skin. This mascara is very effective since it separates the lashes and coats each strand with just the right amount of the mascara fluid. This proves very useful in creating the ‘natural’ look. It is very easy to apply. You do not need an eyelash comb at all. The brush that is provided along with the mixture is very good. You can apply multiple coats as well as apply it both from above and below to your top lashes. Doing this coats the lashes more effectively with the fibres and provides length. If you want more length, wait until your first coat dries and then apply another coat. You can apply more coats till about three- four coats. The company claims that the product is resistant to tears, sweat, and oil. I don’t know about tears and oil but it is definitely resistant to the heat and sweat. Even if you rub your eyes the fibre simply falls off, but does not stain the skin. The eyelashes are also very easy to clean at the end of the day. You simply have to try this mascara.

Talc can keep you smelling fresh for hours

Spilled baby powder
© Photographer: Gvictoria | Agency: Dreamstime.com

Sweating is a normal bodily activity the body does to lower the body temperature. What if you have a tendency to sweat more than others. Is excessive sweating causing you social discomfort. An age old easy to use remedy is your regular Talcum Power.

You might have wondered why Talcum Powder is so popular. Talcum Power has ingredients which absorb unpleasant moisture quickly. In short, nothing can relieve you from the bother of sweat like Talcum Powder. If you sprinkle some Talcum Powder on areas of your body that sweat a lot, you will notice that your damp skin is fragrant and dry once again. Sprinkling some talcum powder on your underarms gives you the confidence as you go about doing your everyday activities.

Here is a look into the many benefits of using Talcum Powder:
1) They are much cheaper than your body sprays.
2) Easy to apply.
3) Absorbs sweat and gives your skin a much needed dry feeling.
4) Keeps you smelling fresh.

I recommend that you should use Zea Mays (Corn Starch) instead of Talc (Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide).

What is Zea Mays?
Corn kernels are soaked and the center of the kernel is removed. What is remaining it mainly starch, which is dried and powdered up into a very fine powder. Zea Mays (Corn Starch) has a silky feeling and a good absorbency and hence it is used instead of Talc (Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide) in many cosmetic preparations. Zea Mays (Corn Starch) is silky smooth and absorbs excess oil.

What is Talc?
Talc is a mineral (Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide), produced by the mining of talc rocks and then processed by crushing, drying and milling. Processing eliminates a number of trace minerals from the talc, but does not separate minute fibers which are very similar to asbestos. Talc is which is linked to several health conditions like ovarian cancer, pulmonary tissue cancer and lung cancer.

Should you buy Talc?
Donot buy any products that contain Talc (Magnesium Silicate Hydroxide). Always read the labels and buy products that use Zea Mays (Corn Starch).

NARS Blush

nars blush NARS Blush

NARS blush is a soft, sheer pressed powder blush. I truly love this blush, the texture is very silky and the colour looks beautiful on me and it lasts for hours. They come in a range of translucent, natural shades, each with a subtle pink for natural blush undertone, created to highlight the complexion. I wear it alone or layer it with another blush to radiate a nice healthy glow. Since I am very fair and like just a shade of colour I can wear their famed Orgasm Blush. It makes my cheeks blush a perfect pinky-peach colour and subtly highlights them with accents of golden shimmer. Super Orgasm Blush has gives the same shimmering peachy pink blush but with a little extra golden sparkle – supposed to give you ‘that’ special afterglow…lol…When I am in the mood to wear more intense coloured blush I go for Exhibit A. If you are black skinned then there is Taos for a light barely there blush or Taj Mahal for a more strong and vivid colour. I use Crazed as well and it also looks good on my friend who is much darker than me. So I guess it would suit on most skin tones. Lovejoy works for me as a beautiful bronzer. Sin and Outlaw make me look beautiful for a night on the town. There is no applicator so make sure you buy a nice brush. It is very easy to apply, even during transit. Little light strokes are sufficient to make me look truly great. Even if I apply a bit more I can easily take it out and do not have to look like a cartoon. It lasts for a long time and takes months before you see the bottom of the blush. This is definitely the blush to die for!

How Cleopatra Used Natural Ingredients in Ancient Times to Enhance Her Beauty

cleopatra beauty secrets How Cleopatra Used Natural Ingredients in Ancient Times to Enhance Her Beauty

Cleopatra, the Queen of thee Nile was known for her stunning beauty. She devised many recipes for enhancing her loveliness and though much is lost, sill some of them have managed to come down to us over the years. Surprisingly, these recipes are not some ancient concoctions, but actually simple mixes which can be easily made using a few, but effective natural ingredients. The ingredients, of course, never showed side effects and made skin or hair healthier and well-nourished.

So, what were Cleopatra’s prized recipes? Let’s take a look at one such recipe – The Honey and Milk Bath.

This recipe for soft skin is very refreshing and it makes your skin nourished and supple. In order to have this bath, you need to mix half cup of thick, rick milk with half cup of honey. Add to this mix, two tablespoons of Jojoba Oil and then mix again. Pour this mixture out into a tub filled with lukewarm water. Soak in the tub for 15 minutes. Milk contains lactic acid which exfoliates dead skin cells, while honey is full of vitamins that nourish your skin texture. Honey also has anti-bacterial properties. When you use this recipe on your skin, you gain the benefits of these ingredients on your skin texture.

Face cleansing is very important because when dirt gets clogged into your skins pores, your skin becomes unhealthy and you can get black heads. Often the reason for this is oily skin, Cleansing your skin, will ensure that the skin texture is always refreshed and healthy. One of Cleopatra’s interesting beauty recipes is about just using plain buttermilk for skin cleaning. You have to wash your face with buttermilk, and then rinse it with warm water. The alpha-hydroxy acids in butter milk will cleanse as well as soften your skin.

As we age, all of us tend to get wrinkles. Though today, you can find some very effective anti-aging creams in the market, you might want to try out something devised by Cleopatra in those days. Once again this recipe also requires the use of Milk and Honey. Just mix one ounce of Honey and one cup Skimmed Milk. Add Aloe Vera gel to this mix and keep in fridge. Apply every morning and evening on your face using a cotton ball. After half an hour, wash off. Nothing will rejuvenate your skin cells more and give you that fresh and young-looking skin than this combination of natural ingredients.

Another interesting aspect about Cleopatra’s beauty regime is Mud Baths. She took mud Baths from mud taken from the Dead Sea. Dead Sea water contains an abundance of minerals, which nourish and revitalize skin texture, making it smooth, refreshed and young-looking. There are also certain medicinal properties in this sea water and as a result, it can be used for treating health problems such as arthritis and even respiratory problems. It’s no wonder that Cleopatra considered it to be the best of beauty treatment and even traveled all the way to the Dead Sea for gaining its many benefits.

Why Long Hair Is Considered A Symbol Of Beauty

Why Long Hair Is Considered A Symbol Of Beauty

Long, silky hair is very appealing to both men and women. This is because beautiful long hair reflects femininity to the hilt. Long hair cascading over the shoulders and back, shines with luster and enhance a woman’s beauty.

Whenever we see advertisements on women’s hair for shampoos and other hair care products, we always see beautiful women, swishing their long, lustrous hair over their shoulders. Just a look at that long hair, will make you feel you need to buy that shampoo and make your hair look the same way. This is basically the intrinsic appeal of long hair. It always makes other people to notice you and comment about how long your hair is and how beautiful it looks. If you want to bring the feminine side of you out, what you need is definitely long hair.

Long hair gives more opportunities for doing different kinds of hairstyles. You can straighten it out, curl it, fringe it, put into braids, knots, put it up and do a whole lot more, depending on the occasion and what you wear. You can get so many different types of looks, with the way you style your long hair. For example, a beautiful chignon can make you look so very elegant and appealing. Short hair, on the other hand, does not give you so many hairstyle options. In short, long hair does cause envy in other women and makes you more appealing to the opposite sex.

However, getting lustrous, lovely, long hair requires patience, diligence and careful maintenance. Sounds like a lot of work, but it’s really not. Growing and taking care of long hair is a very simple process, but you can see results, only if you follow a strict schedule. Here is a look at some simple, easy-to-do hair care routines for long hair:

Brush long hair with a brush that has bristles and a wooden handle. This kind of a hair brush treats your long hair the right way and removes tangles.

After brushing comb your hair with a wide toothcomb, to streamline your hair. Comb continuously for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the evening.

Do not brush or comb you hair when it is wet. This will break your hair and create split ends.

Use shampoos and hair care products that have a high percentage of natural ingredients. Hair care products with a lot of chemical content deplete natural oils from your hair and in the long run, make your hair lose natural luster and shine.

Do not wash hair too frequently. Better to wash twice a week to keep it clean and in good condition.

Better to stay of hair drying devices as this can damage the hair

Follow these tips and you can grow and maintain beautiful, long hair that makes you look lovely and very much feminine. You also need to trim your hair from time to time, so that it grows evenly and so that you get a lovely bounce at the end of your hair.

Clinique Quickliner for Eyes

clinique quickliner for eyes Clinique Quickliner for Eyes

Nowadays I simply cannot do without my Clinique eyeliner. Oh, I loved it in ‘blue gray’ colour ages ago when I experimented with it for the first time; that was the day my current boyfriend asked me out! It is really the best eyeliner I have tried in recent times.

For one thing, it is very easy to apply. It comes in a tube and you just have to trace it in light strokes. Viola! Your eye makeup is almost done. It saves my precious morning time and works like a wonder even when I’m in a hurry. It has this little smudging end which is very effective in case you want to lighten it. So now even if I put on a little extra, I can simply smudge it off – I don’t have to keep looking like a nightmare!

Also it is available in a myriad of colours! The last time I went to pick up a new colour, I just could not decide and got about 2-3 new shades. Grape and Roast Coffee colours are my current favourites. Grape is perfect for an exciting day outdoors while the shy brown colour makes you look like the perfectly charming girl-next-door. Roast coffee makes me look demure yet naughty…and my guy would give anything for that look! If you want to hit the town and party all night then True Khaki is your best bet. It’s slightly golden, very smoky and totally glamorous. It totally magnifies your ‘oomph’ factor! Slate is another colour for that ultra glamorous and chic look while navy is another of my personal favourites. I’m going to try ‘moss’ or ‘violet’ colour – or better yet, both – the next I head out to shop. It is just the perfect gift and must-have for any person who calls herself a female!

Put your fingers in lukewarm soapy water for five minutes. Remove from water and using a soft nail brush, lightly scrub nail undersides and nail surface.

Moisturize your hands everyday through a good moisturizer product.. When doing this apply the moisturizer around the nail area and in cuticles.

In case the stains on o your nails are really bad, try cleaning nails with a cotton swab soaked slightly in hydrogen peroxide

If your nails have become dirty with grease, soak them in diluted hand-washing solution to bring out the grease. Scrub the undersides and surface with a soft toothbrush.

The Bob hair cut simply never out of style

Healthy, shiny hair catches the attention of each and everyone. Hair vitamins are particularly suited for this purpose. They have to be used as a supplement of a proper diet not only to ensure proper growth, but also to protect hair against damage caused by external weather conditions, pollution, stress, and illness.

Vitamins that are important for healthy and proper growth of hair are

Vitamin A

You need enough of this but too much can actually lead to hair loss. So don’t overdo it.

Can Vitamins Regrow Hair?

The answer is yes. They not only prevent further hair loss but can encourage dormant follicles to regrow hair, so long as it has not been more than 3 years since they last produced hair.

You can use vitamins alone but you are much better off using them in conjunction with other therapies such as drugs or natural remedies.

Similar to every part of the body, there are several vitamins and minerals you can take to maintain a healthy hair growth.

Vitamin A, as it helps in the production of healthy sebum in the scalp,
Vitamin A which is an antioxidant and is good for the scalp.
If you take an excess of this though it can be both toxic and accelerate your hair loss.
The second of the important vitamins for hair loss prevention is vitamin A. Vitamin A plays a vital role in maintaining healthy hair, skin, and vision. But it also plays an important part in preventing hair loss by promoting healthy cell growth around hair follicles, keeping them from becoming dry and brittle. Vitamin A can be found in many foods but is most prominent in fruits and vegetables. To get a healthy amount of A vitamins for hair loss prevention, you should make certain that you eat plenty of carrots, tomatoes, peppers and salads as well as eggs and organ meats like liver.
Vitamin A is an antioxidant that promotes the production of healthy sebum found in the scalp. A good supply of this vitamin can be found in fish liver oil, meat, milk, cheese, eggs, spinach, broccoli, cabbage, carrots, apricots, and peaches. Limit your intake to around 5,000 IU. Consuming more than 25,000 IU a day is toxic and can aggravate hair loss instead of curing it and it can lead to other health problems as well.

Insitol, which helps in keeping hair follicles healthy,
Studies on animals have shown that animals lacking in this B-vitamin lose hair rapidly. When the vitamin was later added to their diet, the hair was regrown. Some doctors are known to prescribe this to their patients with either male or female hair loss.
Inositol makes the hair follicle cells healthy. It is also found in whole grains, brewer?s yeast, liver, and citrus fruits. The recommended dosage is 600 mg.

Niacin, which promotes scalp circulation, and pantothenic acid.

To prevent graying of hair and hair loss, it is advisable to take Para-Aminoenzoic acid, Vitamin B6, and Vitamin B12. All these vitamins essential for healthy and lustrous hair can be derived from various fruits and vegetables such as pineapple, strawberries, kiwis, potatoes, vegetable oil, soybeans, dried beans, eggs, liver, rice, fish, turkey, and red meat.

In a lot of cases the lack of vitamins or the incorrect type of vitamins can accelerate your hair loss.

Especially if you take too much of one type.

An example of this is if your on a bad diet which can further hair loss by itself, then it is likely you are not getting the vitamins you need for your hair or for your health.

Most people do not realize just how important vitamin b is to the human system. Studies show that those who consume vitamin b rich foods are significantly less likely to experience hair loss. Vitamin b also enhances the quality, texture and thickness of hair.

Vitamin B3, or niacin also promotes circulation in the scalp. This vitamin is found in brewer?s yeast, wheat germ, fish, chicken, turkey, and meat. Recommended intake is 15 mg, and it should be noted that taking more than 25 mg a day may cause a burning sensation due to blood cell dilation called niacin flush.Vitamin B3 helps with circulation in the scalp. This is essential for hair growth.

Vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid, prevents the graying of hair and hair loss. This vitamin is found in whole grain cereals, brewer?s yeast, organ meats, and egg yolks. The ecommended daily dose is 4 to 7 mg.vitamin B5 This prevents further loss and your hair from going grey.

Vitamin B6 is another nutrient that prevents hair loss and promotes the production of melanin within the body. Melanin is responsible for providing the hair with color. Sources of this vitamin are found in brewer’s yeasts, liver, whole grain cereals, vegetables, organ meats, and egg yolks. Limit consumption to 1.6 mg a day, as high doses cause you to feel numbness in the hands and feet.Vitamin B6 this also prevents loss like vitamin B5 and also gives hair its colour.

Vitamin B12, found in chickens, fishes, eggs, and milk, prevents hair loss. The recommended daily dose is 2 mg.Vitamin B12 this prevents loss too, like the rest of the B class vitamins.

Vitamin C, which acts as an antioxidant,
Vitamin C is an antioxidant like vitamin A that keeps your hair in good health.
Vitamin C is another antioxidant that is helpful for the skin and hair. This vitamin is found in citrus fruits, strawberries, kiwis, cantaloupes, pineapples, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes, and dark green vegetables. The recommended dosage is 60 mg per day.
This vitamin is known to be good for scalp circulation. It can safely be taken in fairly high doses and some people even “mega-dose” on it for reasons other than hair loss. I recommend that you avoid mega-dosing and instead get plenty of it from citrus fruits instead.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant that helps with absorption of iron. This is a necessary process for healthy hair.

Vitamin E

This is a natural antagonist to the ageing process. Not only can it convert grey hairs back to their original color but it can also reverse hair loss.
Consumption of vitamin E helps circulation in the scalp. It is found in cold-pressed vegetable oils, wheat germ oils, soybeans, raw seeds, nuts, dried beans, and leafy green vegetables. Recommended dosage is up to 400 IU. It is important to take note that vitamin E can raise blood pressure and lowers the clotting ability of the blood. If you have high blood pressure or are taking medication, consult with your doctor before taking vitamin E supplements.
Vitamin E, which increases scalp circulation,
Vitamin E acts in a similar fashion to vitamins A and C as an antioxidant and helps improve the scalp circulation.
Vitamin E can also have an effect on your hair growth, as it activates your bodies oxygen intake and helps your blood circulate naturally through the body. Proper blood flow is essential to al growth and rejuvenation.
Also included in the vitamins for hair loss prevention is vitamin E. Vitamin E can be found in leafy green vegetables, such as lettuce and spinach as well as in nuts and whole grains. Vitamin E is essential for promoting healthy blood flow, which in turn helps to ensure that the scalp has adequate blood circulation as well.

Biotin, which produces Keratin,
Biotin helps prevent greying and loss.
Also known as vitamin B7 or H, Biotin is essential for strong hair. One of the first signs of impending hair loss is weakened hair so this vitamin can delay the process. Even if you are already using drugs, it is advisable to take this as a supplement.
Biotin food supplements also help produce keratin, which is a substance in the body that prevents graying of the hair and hair loss. It is found in brewer?s yeasts, whole grains, egg yolks, liver, rice, and milk. Limit intake to 150 to 300 mcg.
What’s the most important hair growth vitamin? It’s biotin. This nutriment is found is such foods as rice, soybeans, oats, sunflower seeds, walnuts and green peas. Due to it’s importance in proper hair care it can now be found in many shampoos and hair growth products.

Be sure to avoid any hair growth products with a lot of amino acids. Most people get all the amino acids they need from the protein in their diet. Too much protein ends up being wasted anyway and therefore you’ll just be paying for expensive urine. Amino acids have also been discovered in multiple cases of kidney dysfunction.

Regardless of whether you are a man or a woman, you should be mindful that you are getting enough of the essential vitamins for hair loss prevention. Contrary to popular belief, hair loss affects just as many women as it does men, and should be treated with an ounce of prevention before it occurs. While all vitamins play an important role in staying healthy, there are only a few vitamins that help to prevent hair loss. One of the best ways you can help to ensure that your lovely locks stay intact, and on your head, is to take appropriate amounts of the following vitamins for hair loss prevention.

Folic Acid

Folic Acid is the number one most important vitamin for hair loss prevention. It has long been hailed as a vital part of women’s health, especially for pregnant women, but few people realize that it can also play a big role in keeping your hair on top of your head where it belongs. Taking folic acid vitamins for hair loss prevention can not only greatly decrease your chances of experiencing hair loss to begin with, as well as help to prevent future hair loss. Folic acid can be found in many foods, including nuts and soybeans; or can be bought in over the counter supplements.

As you can see, there are a number of vitamins for hair loss prevention that you can take either as supplements or by eating a healthy diet. If you have any questions as to whether or not you are getting enough of these vitamins for hair loss prevention in your diet consult a physician. As with any supplements, if you are pregnant or nursing, you should practice extreme caution before taking any vitamins for hair loss.

Vitamins for hair loss may sounds like a pipe dream but this could not be further from the truth. Many people are losing hair or losing it faster because they are seriously deficient in key vitamins. In this article, I’ll tell you which vitamins you need if you are suffering from hair loss and I’ll tell you if they can regrow your hair or not.

Limitation Of Vitamins

The problem with vitamins is that they alone cannot cure you of your hair loss. They are only a small part of the overall solution. Also, there are no other known vitamins that are especially good for your hair. Your hair is made from keratin protein cells and its formation has nothing to do with the vitamins you eat.

Fats

It’s important to eat the right fats because the wrong fats in your diet can lead to cardiovascular disease. Quite apart from the increased risk of death from heart attack or stroke, you will also impair the ability of your hair follicles to access the nutrients they need from your bloodstream.

Eat a diet that is low in saturates and high in unsaturates. Avoid trans fats (common in many takeout and prepared foods) and eat more good fats like oily fish (or capsules). An alternative to fish oil capsules is flaxseed oil but make sure you get the cold pressed variety that you need to keep in the fridge.

Hair loss is one of the most common problems, and also the most difficult to tackle. While healthy hair indicates good general health, hair loss can be an indicator of a deeper internal health problem. Hair loss in women has been attributed to several factors till now: stress, lack of iron or anemia, condition of the scalp, condition of vital internal organs like the kidneys, liver, thyroid etc., emotional disturbances, menstrual problems, illness or lack of essential vitamins and other nutrients in the body etc.

Hair loss generally indicates a deficiency in vitamin B1, vitamin C, lysine and iron. Vitamin C’s antioxidant properties help to make skin and hair healthy by aiding body metabolism, and converting fat and carbohydrates into energy. It helps in the development of healthy collagen that binds tissues together. Hence it is effective in preventing breakage and split ends. Vitamin C is present in good quantities in Citrus fruits, strawberries, pineapple, tomatoes, green peppers, potatoes and most dark green vegetables. A daily dose of 60 mg is recommended for good health. Vitamin B1 or Thiamine aids in protein building and thus makes the hair healthy, giving it volume, shine and a good texture. This is ensured by providing nutrition to the scalp. Other vitamins that help to prevent hair loss in women are: other Vitamin B complex vitamins like Biotin, Inositol, Niacin and vitamin E.

Minerals like iron, zinc, magnesium are also effective in preventing hair loss. The most common food-based sources of these vitamins are: citrus fruits, green vegetables, fruits like pineapple, strawberries, kiwi, potatoes, green peppers, vegetable oils, soybean, raw seeds, dried beans, wheat germ oil, brewer’s yeast, whole grains, eggs, liver, rice, milk, fish, turkey, chicken and red meat. Other products found to be efficient in combating hair loss are Saw Palmetto, nettle root, pumpkin, gotu kola, eleuthero, Uva-Ursi, Muria Puama and others.

There are hundreds of products in the market today that promise to prevent hair loss. These products are generally prescribed by experts though some over the counter drugs are also available. There are companies that specialize exclusively in the production of hair loss drugs. Information about these products is also available on the Internet on the websites of these companies. However, it is better to consult a physician to know the exact cause of hair loss before using any of these products.Where can I find all these vitamins for rejuvenating hair growth
